What is with all these southern people not seeming to know what a pool truck is? And acting like it’s some new/hilarious/ridiculous thing? Where have you been?

But seriously, where? Is it just people who live in like, the ‘burbs/Atlanta or do other people really not know about this?

I honestly had never heard of such things until someone (was it you? might have been) posted about them on Tumblr. I’ve lived in the South all my life, but only in cities/metro areas (Memphis, Mobile, Birmingham, Atlanta).

Also, I’m not very good at being a Southerner. That is to say a lot of things that are common to other people are just confusing to me (example: peanuts in Coke? Sounds gross to me, but is apparently not uncommon). 

Ha, same for me. But I’ve only lived outside Atlanta and in Athens, and it’s hardly news that I’m the worst southerner ever.
