I had a bond for $100 that I cashed after 20 years, because apparently it stopped accumulating interest at that point. Because the economy sucks, after 20 years all I got was $31 in interest. This is only okay on a bus with empty seats, and completely uncool when there are older people standing, like right now. Basic decency fail!
This reminds me, yesterday I was on a packed bus in which people were crammed together standing at the front of the bus, and yet there were open seats. No one benefits from having seats open for no reason, especially when it’s that full....
